Application for an Allotment

The Wester Hailes Allotment Association is always happy to welcome new members when plots become available. These are allocated to individuals on our waiting list who have applied for membership. If you’re interested in joining our community, why not apply today?

Important Information Before You Apply:

• There is a long waiting list, and it may take several years before you are offered a plot.
• When allocated a plot, it is likely to have been neglected and will require significant effort to restore.
• On average, expect to spend at least 6 - 8 hours per week tending, planting, weeding, and harvesting, especially in the first year.
• Regular commitment is essential. Even a well-maintained plot will quickly become overgrown if left unattended for a few weeks.
